Happy New Year...a little late

Not too much news on my front. For New Year I had originally planned to go out for the evening, but when I found out how expensive it would be to go out to dinner and clubbing I bailed. Instead I went for a walk around Houhai with Zoe, where we each got a coffee from evil Starbucks, and then we went home and watched the CCTV and Yunnan New Year's celebrations on TV and then we watched a documentary called 'Grey Gardens.' It was nice and cozy and quiet, which was fine with me. I only took a few pictures.

And my the only seat we could get on the chilly new year in the starbucks...looks awful, but it was nice and warm and cozy inside and there was good music playing.

Exams are coming up again starting this week and into the next. My last one is on Jan. 13th and my flight back to Canada will be on the 14th, so things are going to be a bit hectic for the next little while. It's time to cram and memorize hundreds of characters....gah. I doubt there will be many posts until perhaps when I get back to Canada (yay!).
